Former X Factor star Amelia Lily leads the cast of this Tony Award-winning Green Day-inspired musical at the Arts Theatre.

Featuring many of the band’s greatest hits including Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, Holiday, Wake Me Up When September Ends, 21st Century Breakdown and the punk band’s unreleased love song When It’s Time, American Idiot charts the story of three boyhood friends as they each search for meaning in a post-9/11 world.

The Bring Me Joy singer, who finished third in the 2011 series of the ITV talent show, makes her West End debut as Whatsername in the show.

The production is directed and choreographed by Racky Plews.
