The American Ballet Theatre performs three mixed programmes.

The company is recognised as one of the finest in America, is seen annually by more than 600,000 people and has toured to over 40 countries. It is performing in the UK for the first time in over 15 years.

Programme 1 includes Balanchine’s Symphonie Concertante and Tharp’s In The Upper Room. On Wednesday it is completed by Le Corsaire and Swan Lake Act II, while on Sunday these are replaced with Swan Lake Act III and Le Spectre De La Rose.

Programme 2 comprises Makarova’s La Bayadere Act II, Morris’s Drink To Me Only With Thine Eyes and Robbins’s Fancy Free.

Programme 3 includes Balanchine’s Symphonie Concertante again and Jooss’s Green Table. On Friday it concludes with Swan Lake Act III and Le Spectre De La Rose, while on Saturday this is replaced with Sinatra Suite and Le Corsaire.
