A Fundraising Evening with Alan Bennett for the Roundhouse reading from a selection of his award-winning works.

The much-loved Alan Bennett is renowned across the fields of theatre (History Boys), film (The Madness of King George) and television (Talking Heads). With a career spanning 50 years he is now a reluctant celebrity, an iconic figure in British culture with a canny ability to create characters that we can all recognise. For one night only an evening in his company along with Michael Palin as the host for the evening. Both Palin and Bennett are Camden residents and this event is being staged to raise funds towards the redevelopment of the Roundhouse in the borough, as it approaches reopening at the end of the year.
