Have you ever done something that seemed like a good idea but was actually really stupid? The truth is nobody can resist taking the odd sneaky-peek, especially if you happen to be Abena.

Abena is an average 8 year old. Mischief and mayhem are her hobbies, and she can’t help poking her nose into people’s business. On the day of her brother’s birthday party you’d think she could behave, but curiosity gets the better of her. Whisked away to a magical world, Abena must pass three tests to get back home. But can she do it…and will she ever get home?

This entertaining show of moral and make-believe will be a fun outing for all as The Drill Hall and Talawa, Britain’s leading Black theatre company, team up to produce this funny, fantasy adventure for the under 12s.
