In view of the new government advice announced over the weekend and having considered the impact on and feedback from the company and our audiences, we have taken the decision to introduce a policy that mandates face coverings to be worn at all times within The Old Vic, including in the auditorium, from Thu 02 Dec. If you are exempt from wearing a mask, you’ll be able to download a mask exemption badge for your phone. You’ll also be offered a mask exemption sticker upon arrival.

Unlike film, theatre doesn't have an official age classification organisation. That means all age recommendations are subjective and should be treated as guidelines unless otherwise stated. With this in mind, we ask you to use your judgement in regards to a show’s suitability prior to purchase. However, we are more than happy to help you make a decision.
