“You’re not singing ogre there!”

With Euro 2012 in full footballing flow, the star players of Duloc United had the chance to touch hallowed silverware when the Premier League trophy arrived at Shrek The Musical.

Miniature midfield maestro Lord Farquaad (Neil McDermott), lumbering green centreback Shrek (Dean Chisnall), unpredictable enigma Donkey (Richard Blackwood) and their ever-graceful manager Princess Fiona (Carley Stenson) took time out from a busy day of singing, dancing and turning fairytales on their head at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane to pose with the most sought after footballing prize in the UK.

Photographer Steven Paston was on hand to capture the cast’s moment of glory.

The cast of Shrek The Musical will be at West End LIVE on Sunday 24 June, joining a line-up featuring all of the West End’s musicals performing at the free event during the fabulous weekend.

The fairytale show is also taking part in Kids Week, offering one free child’s ticket with every adult ticket bought for an August performance as part of the annual promotion.
