Emma Hatton, Daniel Boys and Ian McIntosh will be among more than 30 West End stars taking to the stage of the Criterion Theatre for a one-off charity concert of Elegies For Angels, Punks And Raging Queens this weekend.

The special performance of the 1980s song cycle, which is held in aid of The Make A Difference Trust, will take place on Sunday 31 May at the home of long-running hit The 39 Steps.

Featuring a book and lyrics by Bill Russell with music by Janet Hood, Elegies For Angels, Punks And Raging Queens will see the bumper line-up of actors perform a series of monologues and songs written from the perspective of characters who have died from AIDS, representing the feelings of friends and family members dealing with the loss.

Wicked’s Hatton, former Avenue Q star Boys and 2015 Olivier Award nominee McIntosh will be joined in the concert by fellow performers Madalena Alberto (Evita, Dominion Theatre), Jade Anouka (The Vote, Donmar Warehouse), Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (A Chorus Line, London Palladium), Matthew Wycliffe (The Commitments, Palace Theatre) and Emma Williams (Love Story, Duchess Theatre).

With even more cast members still to be announced, the line-up will also include Simon Bailey, Paul Baker, Sakinaah Boateng, Alexa Brown, Natalie Bush, James Charlton, Cassie Compton, Omari Douglas, Adam Colbeck Dunn, Michelle Crook, Fra Fee, Chris Ellis Stanton, Shai Forester, Sarah French, Tom Gillies, Rachel Lea Gray, Paul Hazel, Nick Hendrix, Graham Hoadly, Freddy Hutchins, Lauren Ingram, Kurt Kansley, Emma Kingston, Jordan Langford, Emma Lindars, Leon Lopez, Grace McKee, Michael McKell, Matt McKenna, Ako Mitchell, Ursula Mohan, Katie Paine, Michael Pickering, Ella Marshall-Pinder, Kelly Price, Grace Reynolds, Paul Riddiford, Oliver Saville, Adam Stafford, Julie Stark, Alwyne Taylor, Izabella Urbanowicz, Miles Western and Gary Wood.
