500,000. That’s the number of brand new tickets that have been released to West End’s Wicked! The spellbinding show has extended its current run until 30 November 2019.

In addition to the show’s extension, five extra performances have been added to the Christmas schedule giving you even more opportunity to celebrate this festive season. The extra performances will be on Monday 24 December, Thursday 27 December, Friday 28 December, Sunday 30 December 2018 and Thursday 3 January 2019, all starting at 2.30pm.

Wicked is currently the fifth-longest-running musical in the West End. Next month, it’ll play its 5141st performance which will mean Wicked will surpass Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story and become the 13th longest-running West End show in history.

Based on the acclaimed, best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire that ingeniously re-imagines the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, WICKED tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
