Virtual livestreamed “Tour” of The Snail And The Whale this half-term

Published 21 October 2020

This October half-term, Tall Stories proudly present a special live-streamed of their much-loved stage production inspired by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s ‘The Snail and the Whale’. Because the show cannot tour around the UK as it usually would, the show will be livestreamed 15 times over half term, representing 15 different theatres they would have performed at.

Each performance is presented in partnership with a different UK regional venue. We would encourage you to support your nearest theatre by choosing their performance, but you’re also welcome to pick any performance you would prefer.

Join an adventurous young girl and her seafaring father as they reimagine the story of a tiny snail’s incredible trip around the world on the tail of a great big, grey-blue humpback whale. Live music, storytelling and plenty of audience interaction bring the story vividly to life in this heart-warming adventure for everyone aged four and up.

The production will be filmed and broadcast live to audiences at home, in partnership with UK regional theatres.

As Tall Stories is a registered charity, every ticket you buy will go help to support their current and future work – as well as the venues they tour to.
