Twinkle Twonkle at the Roundhouse this Christmas

First Published 6 October 2011, Last Updated 6 October 2011

Go intergalactic this Christmas with Twinkle Twonkle, a musical adventure for children from Tall Stories at the Roundhouse in the Studio theatre.

Suitable for children aged four and older, Twinkle Twonkle follows Stella, whose favourite toy is a telescope, and her little brother Ryan, who prefers nursery rhymes to stars.

Ryan is sure that there is a man in the moon and he reckons that if you look up for long enough you’ll see a cow jumping over the moon too. Stella, of course, knows better. But one night, while gazing at constellations of the Great Bear and the Little Bear, Ryan and Stella see a brand new constellation in the night sky, a Medium-Sized Bear. And worse, Ryan’s favourite teddy bear has gone missing…

When Ryan extends the telescope all the way up and starts climbing into the stars in search of his bear, Stella has no choice but to follow. Will Stella find Ryan in the night sky and solve the mysteries of the universe before it’s too late?

Packed full of stories, music and mystery, Twinkle Twonkle plays at the Camden venue from 29 November to 30 December.

Tall Stories are the critically acclaimed children’s theatre company that takes new stories and old favourites to create fun, visual stage shows. Previous productions include Room On The Broom and The Snow Dragon.

The theatre company’s production of The Gruffalo will also return to London this winter, running at the Lyric theatre from 23 November.
