Tweenies, not Wombles, may be seen on Wimbledon Common this year as Tweenies Live! Top Of The Tots comes to the New Wimbledon theatre in April as part of a UK tour.
Tweenies Live! Top Of The Tots, produced by BBC Worldwide, is the latest stage outing for the characters from the popular CBeebies television programme The Tweenies – Milo, Jake, Bella and Fizz – who take to the stage in an energetic, music-based live show aimed at young families.
In keeping with The Tweenies’s musical approach to learning through play, the show sees the furry foursome perform a line-up of tot-tastic tunes including Gonna Build A House, Incy Wincy Spider, Wheels On The Bus and Do The Lollipop.
Currently celebrating their 10th anniversary, The Tweenies have starred in several live shows over the years and released a hit single.
Tweenies Live! Top Of The Tots embarks on a 36-date UK tour in 2009, which takes in the New Wimbledon theatre on 21 and 22 April. London fans of the Tweenies can also catch the show later in the run when it visits Richmond theatre from 7 to 9 August.
