Tom Hiddleston, Kit Harington & more stars in Pinter birthday gala

A spectacular array of star names will take part in a one-off charity gala to commemorate Harold Pinter’s birthday, including Tom Hiddleston, Kit Harington, Kristin Scott Thomas, Indira Varma, Simon Russell Beale, Zawe Ashton, and many more.

Happy Birthday, Harold will take place on Wednesday 10 October at the Harold Pinter Theatre, raising money for Amnesty International and Chance to Shine – two of Pinter’s favoured charities. Tickets are now available via ATG tickets.

The confirmed cast list also includes Jade Anouka, Ron Cook, Jon Culshaw, Tom Edden, Paapa Essiedu, Lee Evans, Gawn Grainger, Tamsin Greig, Sheila Hancock, John Heffernan, Gary Kemp, Felicity Kendal, John Macmillan, Patrick Marber, Forbes Masson, Kate O’Flynn, Jonjo O’Neill, John Simm, Jon Snow, Hayley Squires, Maggie Steed, David Suchet, Frances de la Tour, Russell Tovey, Samuel West and Lia Williams.

Happy Birthday, Harold will comprise a varied programme of Pinter’s work, including extracts from his full-length plays, as well as poems, speeches and sketches. The evening will be directed by Jamie Lloyd and co-directed by Jonathan Glew.

The event forms part of the Pinter At The Pinter season, with a number of the season’s stars also appearing in the gala night.
