Thriller Live remixed for second year

Published 2 February 2010

Thriller Live, the crowd-pleasing high-energy tribute concert to Michael Jackson, has celebrated moving into its second West End year by revitalising the show.

The updated version of the hit show, which officially launches on 11 February, features extra choreography, six new songs and a different opening to the production that originally opened in London in January 2009.

With an enviable score including Billie Jean, Man In The Mirror, Beat It, Thriller, Can You Feel It and I Want You Back, Thriller Live blends video footage and special effects with choreography from Gary Lloyd, who has previously worked with the likes of Leona Lewis, Robbie William and Girls Aloud.

Thriller Live’s London home at the Lyric theatre became a focal point for grieving fans when the King of Pop died last year, many leaving flowers and tributes to arguably one of the world’s greatest entertainers.

Thriller Live has proved so successful that in addition to its London production, two world tours have been mounted, while further productions are planned for Australia, Asia, the USA and Canada.
