Julius Caesar (Royal Shakespeare Company)

Julius Caesar

The Unusual Suspects

First Published 31 May 2012, Last Updated 7 June 2012

Normally we would describe a line-up including Paterson Joseph, Ray Fearon and Cyril Nri as stellar or exciting, but today ominous feels more fitting.

The actors are all appearing in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Julius Caesar, which began its Stratford run this week and will make it to London’s Noël Coward theatre on 8 August.

The show’s atmospheric new trailer, which you can watch at the top of the page, hints at the tension on offer in Shakespeare’s political thriller set, for this production by Gregory Doran, in Africa.

We can feel a dry terror seeping from the screen. Let us know what you think on Twitter by tagging tweets with #JuliusCaesar
