Yesterday night marked the reopening of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic show, The Phantom Of The Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Frankie and Daniel went along to experience the show as it returned #BackOnStage and it simply blew them away!

The musical, which first opened on 9 October 1986 is based on Gaston Leroux’s gothic novel of live beneath the stage of the Paris Opera House. Starring double Olivier Award nominee Killian Donnelly as The Phantom, Lucy St. Louis as Christine Daaé and Rhys Whitfield as Raoul, The Phantom Of The Opera is today, one of the most successful theatre productions of all time.

Follow the story of Phantom who, shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, “haunts” the backstage and public areas. When he falls in love with a young chorus singer, he transforms her into a star. When she’s rescued by her lover, Phantom vows revenge!

This tragic love story is brought to life on stage each night with a mesmerising score, along with jaw-dropping scenery and breathtaking special effects. Having won over 70 major theatre awards, including three Olivier Awards and seven Tonys, The Phantom Of The Opera is a must-see for theatre fans.

Leaving the theatre, Frankie and Daniel described the show as “absolutely incredible” and the “singing is out of this world.” Check out their experience in the video below…
