In our profile series, Tell Us In 10, we ask cast members and creatives of top London shows to tell us all about themselves in just 10 questions. From how their castmates would describe them and alternative careers, to their Theatreland idols, we want to know it all!

This week, we hear from Sophie Naglik, who’s currently playing Jennifer Parker in Back To The Future: The Musical.

If you’re a Back To The Future fan, you can also check out Amber Davies (Lorraine Baines), Oliver Nicholas (George McFly) and Jordan Benjamin‘s (Mayor Goldie Wilson) interviews!

Find out more about Sophie and her career so far below:

1. My route into theatre was…

As a child I did musical theatre classes on the weekend at my local theatre school, and joined their agency. I started auditioning from there and continued my journey.

2. My West End idol is…

Samantha Barks.

3. My colleagues would describe me as…

Bubbly and small.

4. My favourite show present or past (that isn’t one I star in) is…

Miss Saigon.

5. The career moment I’m most proud of is…

Earning this role as Jennifer Parker in Back To The Future.

6. The hardest part about my role is…

Working your personal and social life around the show schedule. The working hours in theatre aren’t like most jobs, so finding a balance between other areas of your life can be difficult sometimes.

7. If I didn’t work in theatre I would be…

A baker.

8. Something people don’t know about me is…

When I was very young the first job I wanted to do when I grew up was to be a teacher in primary schools.

9. The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is…

Love yourself and everything you do, then everything else will fall into place.

10. The one thing I wish I could tell my younger self is…

There’s no need to worry, what is meant for you will happen.
