Simon Callow stars in A Christmas Carol

First Published 21 October 2016, Last Updated 21 October 2016

Award-winning actor Simon Callow brings his acclaimed one-man version of the Dickens classic to the Arts Theatre this Christmas.

Following two sell-out seasons in 2011 and 2012, A Christmas Carol, directed by Tom Cairns, will play a strictly limited 8 week season at the Leicester Square venue this December. Based on Charles Dickens’ own performance of the novel, the production promises to be a moving and heart-warming piece of theatre, a true tribute to the iconic festive tale.

Callow is known for his frequent portrayal of Charles Dickens, having embodied the author in numerous productions on stage and screen, as well as writing two books about him. Callow’s acting career spans four decades, and he is also an Olivier Award-winning director.

A Christmas Carol runs at the Arts Theatre from 8 December – 7 January 2017. For more information, visit the official website.
