Rudolph missing at Ambassadors theatre

First Published 12 August 2011, Last Updated 12 August 2011

Young children will have a second chance to meet Santa Claus this year as the famous reindeer owner returns to the Ambassadors theatre from 29 November to 31 December.

Claus, otherwise known as Father Christmas, appeared at the West End venue last festive season in The Night Before Christmas. He now returns, with elves in tow, in new interactive show Santa Claus And The Christmas Adventure, which turns the Ambassadors theatre into a traditional grotto.

The new show transports audiences to Santa’s HQ in the North Pole where the portly present-giver has programmed the reindeer sat nav on his sleigh, which is piled high with gifts. But then chaos strikes; head reindeer Rudolph is missing and the elves are misbehaving. Will Santa ever manage to deliver the presents?

The interactive show asks for the audience’s help in finding the red-nosed sleigh-puller, and in return all the children get to meet Santa after the show and receive a present.

Santa Claus And The Christmas Adventure will share the Ambassadors theatre with long-running show Stomp, which continues its run during the festive season.
