It’s not often you get to spend lunch with a hyperactive dog, a hilariously dry bird, a feisty cat, charming frog and a real life witch, but after one Wednesday performance of Room On The Broom that’s exactly what I got to do.
I joined the eccentric gang on stage, and the rather-lovely-for-a-witch Witch from Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson’s famous picture book led an exclusive video Q&A with questions put to the group by young fans and their just as eager parents alike.
Thanks to all the Kids Week Facebook fans who posed the questions and special congratulations to Kate Hunt and her family who were chosen by the group to win a special Room On The Broom treat for their question: “What improvements would you make to the broom at the end of the story?” Bet they never guessed Justin Bieber would be involved…
