Richmond shakes things up

First Published 16 July 2008, Last Updated 16 July 2008

Little ones will be able to see their favourite characters from Five television’s daily morning show Milkshake! on the stage of Richmond theatre this summer in Milkshake! My First Concert Live, which comes to the South London venue from 28 to 31 July.

The stage show is billed as an introduction to music and theatre for toddlers. It features many of the characters from the popular television programmes presented by Milkshake!, including Rupert Bear, Peppa Pig, Little Princess, Fifi Forget-Me-Not, Mr Bump and Noddy. Two of Milkshake!’s line-up of presenters – Naomi Wilkinson, Kemi Majeks, Beth Evans, Jen Pringle and Derek Moran – will be on hand to tie things together and get the young audience singing along and trying out some funky dance moves to the Milkshake! Shake.

Running daily on Five, Milkshake! presents a line-up of popular pre-school entertainment, including The Mr Men Show, Make Way For Noddy, Fifi And The Flowerpots and Peppa Pig.

Milkshake! My First Concert Live plays at Richmond for seven performances only as part of a national tour.
