Kellie Shirley, Jenny Éclair and Gary Wilmot are to star in Richmond theatre’s pantomime Cinderella this Christmas, from 9 December to 15 January.
Shirley, who plays the title character, is best known as Carly Wicks in EastEnders. Since leaving the TV soap the actress has appeared on stage as part of the National Theatre’s Connections programme and in farce Rookery Nook at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
Her Fairy Godmother is played by Éclair, the comedian, writer and actress whose work includes Grumpy Old Women and TV show Loose Women.
They are joined by Wilmot as Buttons. During his extensive television and musical theatre career Wilmot has appeared on stage in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Me And My Girl and well as frequent pantomime outings.
Richmond theatre is well known for securing famous faces for its annual pantomimes. Previous stars have included Bonnie Langford and Simon Callow.
