The stagiest weekend of the year may be cancelled but West End LIVE will still be celebrating the best of the West End with Virtual West End LIVE. On the weekend of 20 – 21 June, they’ll be releasing two specially commissioned highlights programmes featuring performances from the last 5 years. Both programmes will be captioned and will be available to watch on the West End LIVE Facebook page  for 24 hours only, with one released on the Saturday and the other on the Sunday – timings will be released soon.

However, the fun doesn’t end there. The weekend will be littered with a whole host of online activities to engage with their loyal audience. Keep your eyes peeled on their social pages (Facebook | Instagram | Twitter) as they’ll be releasing a schedule ahead of the weekend.

It was announced earlier this month that West End LIVE have partnered with Sky VIP to commission a series of fifteen-minute videos with a selection of West End shows. Whilst Sky VIP customers can be amongst the first to watch these videos, the videos will then be released on our YouTube channel after the Virtual West End LIVE weekend, to be sure you don’t miss out subscribe for notifications.

West End Live is run by Westminster Council and the Society of London Theatre and has established itself over the years as a highlight of the theatrical year. It is a unique event for a world capital and one that provides a brilliant free taster of wonderful shows and an introduction into the wider West End for tens of thousands of visitors who go on to enjoy shops, restaurants, and other attractions. They very much look forward to bringing it back bigger and better than ever before next year.
