Popup pops up at Millfield

One-man puppet company Professor Popup’s Puppet Theatre returns to Millfield theatre on 16 September with a show for 3-9 year olds and their families, Amazing, Mr Noah.

Professor Popup is on holiday at the seaside, but it’s raining cats and dogs. Trapped indoors, the Professor begins to tell the story of Noah and how he saved the animals from the flood. With the help of suggestions from the young audience, he uses things left behind from other holidays to rebuild the ark and tell his amazing story.

Designed as an introduction to theatre for young children, Amazing, Mr Noah is an imaginative re-telling of this classic story using puppets, toys and everyday objects.

Professor Popup’s Puppet Theatre was established in 1984 by actor and director Melvyn Rawlinson. Previous productions include Festival Of The Dragon Moon, The Storycatchers and The Pied Piper of Hamelin, which came to Millfield last season.

Amazing, Mr Noah plays at Millfield for one performance only on Sunday 16 September at 14:00.
