Polka theatre is offering a range of workshops and activities for children and their families this Easter school holidays, 7 to 17 April.

Based around The Jolly Postman, which is currently playing at the Wimbledon children’s theatre, the first three workshops in the series, held on 7 to 9 April, allow participants to join in storytelling, puppet making and interactive activities before watching that day’s performance of The Jolly Postman, as the workshop price includes a ticket to the show.

On 14 April Polka presents Indian Dreams, an interactive storytelling, music and craft workshop inspired by India, suitable for 5-8 year olds and their parents/carers. On 15 and 16 April the theatre hosts Bouncing Easter Bunnies, a lively two-day craft and music workshop split into two age groups. Mornings are for 3-4 year olds, while the afternoons are suitable for 4-5 year olds.

The programme finishes on 17 April with a playwriting workshop in which 9-12 year olds can learn to write their very own play, with a little advice from Polka professionals.

For more information about the workshops, visit www.polkatheatre.com. Places must be booked through the box office on 020 8543 4888.
