Christina Bennington who plays Veronica Sawyer takes us on a behind-the-scenes tour ahead of the opening of Heathers The Musical this month.

Based on the 1988 cult hit movie that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, Heathers The Musical follows the tales of Veronica Sawyer who is just another nobody dreaming of a better day. But when she joins the beautiful and impossibly cruel Heathers at Westerberg High and her dreams of popularity may finally come true, mysterious teen rebel JD teachers her that it might kill to be a nobody, but it is murder being a somebody…

Following two smash hit London seasons, the show returns to the West End with much excitement from it’s hugely dedicated theatre fans, some of whom came dressed up for the special night. Just check out these amazing outfits!

As if the return of a iconic musical isn’t enough to get us pumped, the star-studded cast includes Christina Bennington (Bat Out Of Hell) in the role of high school geek Veronica Sawyer, Jordan Luke Gage (& Juliet) as the dark and moody teen, Jason Dean (JD), while in the eponymous roles of ‘The Heathers’ is returning cast member Jodie Steele (Six) with her critically acclaimed portrayal of ‘mega bitch’ Heather Chandler, alongside Bobbie Little (Jesus Christ Superstar) as Heather Duke and Frances Mayli McCann (Evita) as Heather McNamara.

Leaving the theatre with huge smiles on their faces, Frankie and Milly described their #BackOnStage experience as “energetic” and “not a typical teen heartthrob musical.”
