On 6 April, musical sensation Mamma Mia! celebrated its 20th anniversary. Now, entering its 21st year, a brand new set of faces will star in the hit show.

From Monday 10 June, Mazz Murray will be returning to the musical as Donna, along with Kirsty Hoiles who will play Tanya. Also new to the musical will be Cameron Burt as Sky, Melissa Nettleford as Ali, Sophie Matthew as Lisa, Taylor Bradshaw as Eddie and Danny Nattrass as Pepper.

Continuing in their roles will be Ricky Butt as Rosie, Richard Trinder as Sam, Neil Moors as Harry, Stephen Beckett as Bill and Lucy May Barker as Sophie. Caroline Deverill continues to play the role of Donna at certain performances.

Mamma Mia! tells the story of Sophia, a young woman living on an idyllic Greek island with her mother, Donna. With her wedding day edging closer and closer, Sophia’s need to know her father grows ever stronger. Discovering that he could be one of three men, she invites them all to her big day… without her mother’s knowledge. To her surprise, they all turn up sending the whole affair up in the air. Will her need to know her past destroy her chance at a happy future? And what will her mother make of all of it?

The ABBA infused musical has enjoyed 50 productions in 16 different languages around the world. Due to its success, it was adapted into a film in 2008 which in turn made a sequel due to its popularity.

Featuring some of ABBA’s most famous songs – including Does Your Mother Know, Dancing Queen, Money Money Money, Take A Chance On Me, Super Trouper, The Winner Takes It All and, of course, the title song Mamma Mia! – this is one of the biggest parties on in the West End.
