It isn’t just the new Jamie that everybody’s talking about, but also the new cast who’ll be joining him from 28 January.

Introducing (the new) Miss Hedge, Hayley Tamaddon (Coronation Street) will be joining the cast, taking over from Michelle Visage. Accompanying the new teacher in town will be Sabrina Sandhu, who’s stepping into the role of Jamie’s best friend, Pritti Pasha and Sejal Keshwala will join the company as Ray.

Other new cast additions are Marlon G Day (Dad), Momar Diagne, Zahra Jones (Becca), Luke Latchman (Sayid), Rachel Price (Swing), Biancha Szynal (Swing), Adam Taylor (Swing) and Ziggy Tyler Taylor (Levi).

It’s not a whole new class though, with many current cast members staying on for another term of Jamie. Remaining in the  show are: Alex Anstey (Laika Virgin), Luke Baker (Dean Paxton), Courtney Bowman (Fatimah), Marvyn Charles (Swing), James Gillan (Tray Sophisticay), Ryan Hughes (Mickey), Daniel Jacob (Sandra Bollock), Melissa Jacques, Emily Kenwright (Vicki), Jordan Laviniere (Cy) Rebecca McKinnis (Margaret New), and Harriet Payne (Bex).

The cast will be joining the already announced Layton Williams as Jamie New, and Shane Richie who will be donning his highest heels and his sparkiest dress to play Hugo/Loco Chanelle.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie tells the story of Jamie New, a sixteen-year-old boy from Sheffield with big dreams, which he wants to accomplish in even bigger high heels. Based on a true story, follow Jamie, his supportive mum and friends, as he tries to go from the darkness and into the spotlight. You don’t even know how much you’re going to love this show.
