Miss Saigon extends to winter 2015

Published 11 February 2015

Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil’s legendary musical Miss Saigon will entertain audiences at the Prince Edward Theatre until winter 2015 after extending its booking period until 19 December.

The new booking period follows last month’s extension announcement and adds an extra three months of performances to the show’s acclaimed run.

Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of the epic Vietnam War-set love story opened at the Prince Edward Theatre in May 2014 and marked the first time the iconic hit had been seen in the West End for almost 15 years.

Renowned for its classic score, which includes The Heat Is On In Saigon, Sun And Moon and This Is The Hour, the musical charts the story of American GI John as he purchases the services of 17-year-old war orphan Kim for one night during the final days of the US occupation of Saigon. Both are reluctant participants in this enforced tryst, but that night triggers a tragic story that spans continents and changes lives forever.

Directed by Laurence Connor, the production features a cast including Eva Noblezada, Jon Jon Briones, Alistair Brammer, Tamsin Carroll, Hugh Maynard and Rachelle Ann Go, all of whom have been with the musical since its premiere last year.

Tickets for Miss Saigon’s new booking period can be booked through us here, but those wanting to catch the show before the end of the week can book discounted tickets through Get Into London Theatre before the promotion ends on Friday.
