Are you ready to revolt!? We’re incredibly excited to have heard that the beloved Matilda The Musical is coming to Netflix. Due to be released on 2 December 2022!
An adaptation of the Olivier Award-winning musical. Matilda tells the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a sharp mind and a vivid imagination, dares to take a stand to change her story with miraculous results.
Alisha Weir will play Matilda, with Lashana Lynch as Miss Honey and Emma Thompson as Miss Trunchbull! Also starring Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough and Sindhu Vee.
The show is directed by Matthew Warchus, who also directed the stage musical. With book and lyrics by Tim Minchin and script by Dennis Kelly, based on the book by Roald Dahl.
