Martin Kemp will star in Million Dollar Quartet

First Published 21 September 2016, Last Updated 21 September 2016

Full casting has been announced for Million Dollar Quartet, including Martin Kemp as legendary record producer Sam Phillips.

Martin will take on the role of the man who brought four recording stars – Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins – together to create music history. Martin rose to fame as the bassist in one of Britain’s best-loved bands, Spandau Ballet, with more than 25 million records sold worldwide.

Further casting includes Martin Kaye as Jerry Lee Lewis, Robbie Durham as Johnny Cash, Ross William Wild as Elvis Presley, Matt Wycliffe as Carl Perkins and Katie Ray as Dyanne.

Inspired by the true story of the famed recording session where Sam Phillips brought together four icons of rock ‘n’ roll, Million Dollar Quartet includes more than 20 legendary hits, including Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, I Walk The Line, and Great Balls Of Fire. Bringing that legendary night to life, the show features a score of rock hits which bring you inside the recording studio for one unforgettable night.

Million Dollar Quartet plays at the Royal Festival Hall on London’s Southbank, as part of a UK tour. Book your tickets today.
