The hit West End production of Mamma Mia! will dance into its 18th year in 2016 as the much-loved musical has extended its run at London’s Novello Theatre until next October.

The ABBA-packed musical, which was previously booking until 23 April, will now entertain audiences with those much-loved Swedish pop band hits until 22 October 2016.

Currently starring Dianne Pilkington and Gabriella Williams as the musical’s on-stage mother/daughter duo, Mamma Mia! charts the story of Sophie (Williams) as she prepares for her wedding day on a Greek island paradise.

A tale of family and friendship, the production follows the bride to be as she invites her mother’s trio of past lovers – any of whom could be Sophie’s father – to the marital ceremony. Much to both women’s surprise, they all turn up, but which one will take her down the aisle?

Phyllida Lloyd’s production, which opened at the Prince Edward Theatre in 1999, has now been seen by an incredible 60 million people worldwide and has celebrated more than 6,500 performances in the West End.

The new booking period will give audiences an additional six months to enjoy Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus’ well-known songs on the London stage, with ABBA favourites including Money, Money, Money, Dancing Queen, Voulez-Vous, Take A Chance On Me and I Have A Dream all featuring in the show.

Tickets for the London production can been booked through us, with the newly announced performances going on sale shortly. If you book your tickets before 26 November, you stand a chance of winning an incredible trip to New York.
