Made In Dagenham releases £15 tickets

First Published 29 August 2014, Last Updated 29 August 2014

Audiences will have the chance to watch Hollywood star Gemma Arterton in her musical debut for just £15 following the news that Made In Dagenham has released 15,000 tickets at the wallet-friendly price.

Arterton will star in the highly anticipated Rupert Goold-directed musical adaptation of the hit film from 9 October, bringing to life the 1968-set true story of the female workers at Ford’s Dagenham plant who famously went on strike with the aim of attaining equal pay.

With rehearsals underway, the company were this week visited by three of the original Ford Dagenham strikers, Eileen Pullen, Vera Sime and Gwen Davis (pictured above).

The trio visited the cast including Arterton, Adrian Der Gregorian and Isla Blair as they prepare for the musical, which features a book by One Man, Two Guvnors’ Richard Bean, to make its world premiere at the Adelphi Theatre this autumn.
