The cast of The Play That Goes Wrong

The full cast for Amy Herzog’s 4000 Miles was today announced.

Joining the previously announced Eileen Atkins (as Vera) and Timothée Chalamet (as Leo) in the cast will be Philippine Velge (Macbeth, Doctors) and Siu-See Hung (Chinglish, Cursed) who will play Bec and Amanda respectively.

Directed by Matthew Warchus and playing at The Old Vic from 4 April to 23 May, 4000 Miles is Amy Herzog’s Pulitzer Prize for Drama nominated play that tells the story of family, loss and bridging the gap between generations.

Timothée Chalamet and Eileen Atkins will star in 4000 Miles alongside Philippine Velge and Siu-See Hung.

The Olivier Award-winning hit, The Play That Goes Wrong, today announced an extended booking period.

Having started its life at a London fringe venue with only four paying customers, this rags-to-riches show transferred to Trafalgar Studios before moving onwards to the Duchess Theatre, and has since played to an audience of over two million. Following its transfer to Broadway, the hilarious hit has gone on to play simultaneously in twelve countries, with foreign language productions in France, Israel and Italy. It’s even claimed a Tony Award in 2017 for Best Scenic Design of a Play!

Theatre Royal Stratford East today announced the full cast for Nadia Fall’s Welcome To Iran.

Directed by Nadia Fall and co-produced by Theatre Royal Stratford East and the National Theatre, this new play – based on real life interviews – follows a twenty-something Londoner named Ava, who travels to Iran following the death of her estranged father, in search of his past and her culture. 

It was announced today that the cast will include: Moe Bar-El, Nalân Burgess, Souad Faress, Karina Fernandez, Nicholas Karimi, Serena Manteghi, Maimuna Memon, Isabella Nefar, Kareem Samara and Joplin Sibtain. 

Playing from 18 April to 16 May at Theatre Royal Stratford East before transferring to National Theatre, Ava’s journey offers a witty and tender snapshot into modern Iran.
