First look: Walden rehearsal images

We got a first look at rehearsal images from Walden, ahead of its opening at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 22 May.

Playing until 12 June, Walden is the debut play by Amy Berryman, starring star Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace), Fehinti Balogun (Juliet, Naked) and Lydia Wilson (The Duchess of Malfi).

It forms a part of Sonia Friedman Production’s new season of new plays for a new world. The RE:EMERGE season at The Harold Pinter Theatre will create a space for vital, new voices and fresh talent in the West End and beyond, working alongside some of the industry’s greatest theatremakers and artists.

Walden tells the story of Cassie, a NASA botanist, who after returning from a year long Moon Mission, finds herself in a remote cabin in the woods. Here, her estranged twin sister, Stella, a former NASA architect, has found a new life with climate activist Bryan. Old wounds resurface as the sisters attempt to pick up the pieces of the rivalry that broke them apart.
