Oi. Oi! OI!… and now that we’ve got your attention, we’ve an exciting announcement for families: the award-winning children’s picture books Oi Frog!, Oi Dog! and Oi Cat! are leaping into the West End in Oi Frog & Friends! this winter.

Based on Kes Gray and Jim Field’s best-selling, beloved books, Oi Frog & Friends! is bounding into London’s Lyric Theatre, playing a limited season from 29 November to 5 January 2020 – the perfect Christmas treat for little ones.

Full of joyful music, songs, puppets, laughs – and rhymes, rhymes, rhymes – Oi Frog & Friends is an action-packed musical adventure which is sure to prove the perfect introduction to theatre for families with children aged 3+.

The show is set at Sittingbottom school, where Frog is looking for a place to sit, Cat has other ideas, and Dog is doing as he’s told. But chaos is coming and rhyming rules are on the way maybe cat will sit on the mat and the frog on a log?

The book series has sold over 900,000 copies to date, becoming one of the bestselling picture book series of the decade. Now, it’s been adapted for the stage by Emma Earle, Zoe Squire, Luke Bateman and Richy Hughes.

Illustrator Jim Field says, “I am pinching myself about Oi Frog! now coming to the stage later this year. It’s wonderful! [Producers] Kenny Wax Family Entertainment have produced some incredible award-winning shows based on prolific children’s books so I can’t wait to see how they bring our characters to life for the Oi fans!”

There is nothing that you need to do if your performance has been cancelled, but we do ask for your patience.
