Tickets for Kids Week will go on sale on Tuesday 17 June. Details of which top West End shows and brilliant family-friendly productions playing across London’s theatres will take part in this year’s campaign will be announced in the coming weeks.

Now a much-anticipated date in the theatre calendar for thousands of families, Kids Week is a unique initiative that offers one free ticket to children up to the age of 16 with every adult ticket purchased to shows taking part in Kids Week, plus up to a two further children’s tickets half-price.

As always, Kids Week runs from 1 to 31 August and will also include an incredible line-up of exclusive workshops and activities that will enable Kids Week ticket holders the chance to discover more about working on the West End stage and take a sneak peek at life behind the scenes.

Kids Week first extended its run to a month in 2012 to celebrate the Olympics and after popular demand returned last year in all its four week glory. In 2013, a huge 107,000 family members attended one of more than 1,200 theatre performances of 34 top West End shows.

Continuing its impressive statistics, a survey of more than 5,000 2013 Kids Week bookers revealed an outstanding 99.4% of responders said they would recommend the campaign to a friend and 93% claimed it had inspired their family to attend the theatre more frequently.
