The Hound Of The Baskervilles is closing a month early at the Duchess, on 23 June. It had been booking until 21 July.

Peepolykus’s comic adaptation of the Arthur Conan Doyle story began life at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in January and transferred to the Duchess on 16 April following a UK tour.

With a cast of just three actors (Javier Marzan, John Nicholson and Jason Thorpe) playing 20 roles between them, this irreverent show takes the audience on a journey across windswept Dartmoor as Sherlock Holmes and Watson investigate the case of The Hound Of The Baskervilles.

Peepolykus’s previous touring productions include Let The Donkey Go, Horses For Courses and All In The Timing. The Hound Of The Baskervilles is the company’s West End debut.

Next to occupy the Duchess is the musical Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story, which returns to the West End on 3 August after five years away. On its last stay, the show remained in the West End for 12 years, finally closing at the Strand (now Novello) in 2002. em>CB
