Hogwarts’ boy stars in Our Boys

Matthew Lewis will join Cian Barry, Arthur Darvill and Laurence Fox in the upcoming production of Jonathan Lewis’ Our Boys.

Best known for his role as the loveable Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films, Lewis turns from wizard to warrior when he makes his West End debut at the Duchess theatre this autumn.

The actor was last seen on stage in the touring production of Agatha Christie’s Verdict, but has most recently finished filming the forthcoming British heist movie Wasteland alongside fellow Hogwarts’ resident Timothy Spall.

Lewis’ drama, which tells of the tribulations, tedium and terror that young soldiers face when recovering from injuries incurred in the line of duty, will play for a 12 week limited season from 26 September to 15 December.

Directed by David Grindley, the production will open at the Duchess theatre following the burlesque-inspired musical spectacular The Hurly Burly Show – Naughty But Nice, which plays from 2 July to 22 September.
