Get Into London Theatre 2013

Get Into London Theatre returns

Published 5 November 2013

Get Into London Theatre, our annual winter ticket promotion offering tickets to top West End shows for as little as £10, is back for 2014 with tickets for more than 45 shows on sale next month.

Ensuring every theatre lover’s new year starts with an entertaining, glittering and star-studded bang courtesy of the theatre capital of the world, Get Into London Theatre offers tickets for a selection of London’s most loved and anticipated shows for £10, £15, £25, £35 or £40, with no booking or postage fees.

From 10 December booking will be open for performances from 1 January to 13 February, and, with everything from razzle dazzle musicals to family entertainment on offer, there really is something for everyone.

If you have a long list of West End classics you’re yet to see, now is the time, with long-running hits including Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia!, War Horse and festive favourite The Snowman taking part. New musicals Stephen Ward, The Commitments and From Here To Eternity join them on the line-up for the first time, while families are spoilt for choice with everything from the legendary Disney’s The Lion King to children’s favourite The Gruffalo available. For something totally different and to cure those pesky winter blues you could also choose from numerous comedies including Potted Panto, Eric And Little Ern and the Old Vic’s Fortune’s Fool.

Praising the initiative, which has been running every winter since 2002, forthcoming Monty Python’s Spamalot star Carley Stenson called upon audiences to take advantage of the deal, saying: “Get Into London Theatre offers a great chance to see a brilliant selection of shows all over London at affordable prices. A theatre trip can be expensive, particularly after Christmas, but with tickets available from just £10 this is the perfect opportunity to take in a show, so don’t miss out!”

Get Into London Theatre is run by the same not-for-profit organisation as Official London Theatre, the Society of London Theatre (SOLT). Mark Rubinstein, SOLT’s President, commented:  “We are thrilled to be announcing the 13th annual Get Into London Theatre campaign. Year on year this scheme has grown in popularity attracting ever more audiences both old and new to the West End. We are delighted to be able to brighten up those post-Christmas blues by offering great tickets at affordable prices to an even wider range of diverse and exciting shows.”

Tickets can be booked from 10 December online at www.getintolondontheatre.co.uk or by calling 0844 581 5050.
