Clockwise from top left -Joe Dixon, Debbie Kurup, Gary Wilmot, Silas Wyatt-Barke, Tanisha Spring & Adam Pearce.

And that’s not all, as further casting is still to be announced.

So, where might you have seen these names before?

Joe is an Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company, and has had leading roles in popular productions including Imperium I & II, and The Tempest, where he starred alongside Simon Russell Beale.

Debbie is currently appearing in Blues In The Night (Kiln Theatre). Her numerous leading theatre roles include Helene in Sweet Charity (Donmar Warehouse) and Mrs Neilson in Girl From The North Country (West End and The Old Vic). She’s also an Olivier Award nominee for her stand-out performance of Nicki Marron in The Bodyguard.

Gary Wilmot is a much-loved actor, singer, comedian, impressionist and presenter, who has had a prolific career over the last 40 years, and he’s certainly got a busy few months ahead of him. Before stepping onto the Dominion Theatre‘s stage, Gary will make his National Theatre debut in Mr Gum And The Dancing Bear – The Musical and will also return to the London Palladium to star in its annual pantomime, Goldilocks And The Three Bears, later this year.

Adam is currently playing Augustin Magaldi in Evita (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre). He’s appeared on the West End stage in several successful productions including Les Misérables, Sweeney Todd as well as Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (with Lee Mead).

Tanisha recently played Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors (Storyhouse), and her other credits include Caroline, or Change (West End) and Big Fish (The Other Palace).

Silas recently played Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Kwame Kwei-Armah and Shaina Taub’s musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. His other credits include As You Like It (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), Much Ado About Nothing (Rose Theatre Kingston) and Sunny Afternoon (West End).

The Prince Of Egypt is a brand-new stage musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell), and is based on the celebrated animated film. The show features 10 new songs, together with five of the acclaimed songs from the original film, including Deliver Us, All I Ever Wanted, Through Heaven’s Eyes and the Academy Award-winning number, When You Believe.

Set in Ancient Egypt, the show is the story of two young men, raised together as brothers in a kingdom of privilege, who find themselves suddenly divided by a secret past. One must rule as Pharaoh, the other must rise up and free his true people; both face a destiny that will change history forever.

Luke Brady (Moses), Liam Tamne (Ramses), Christine Allado (Tzipporah) and Alexia Khadime (Miriam).
