First look: A Guide For The Homesick rehearsal shots

In just two weeks, the erotic thriller A Guide For The Homesick will make its European debut at Trafalgar Studios 2. The tender and bittersweet drama from award-winning American writer Ken Urban stars screen star Douglas Booth opposite Clifford Samuel. And today, we have a sneak peek at the upcoming production’s rehearsals.

See below to see Douglas and Clifford prepare for the roles of Jeremy and Teddy respectively.

A Guide For The Homesick tells the story of two strangers, Teddy (Clifford) and Jeremy (Douglas), who are away from home in Amsterdam. One is searching for a friend for the night – the other, a beer. But despite being worlds apart, they’re destined to find each other. Can they overcome their own secrets and doubts, and confess their greatest fears to one another?

Douglas is best known for his appearances in The Dirt; Mary Shelley; The Limehouse Golem; Loving Vincent; and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

The show is directed by Jonathan O’Boyle and features designs by Jason Denvir, lighting by Nic Farman, and sound by Max Perryment.

A Guide For The Homesick runs from 16 October to 24 November.
