Exclusive: Lisa Faulkner West End recipe

First Published 20 May 2015, Last Updated 26 May 2015

To celebrate the first ever West End Bake Off, actor and MasterChef winning cook Lisa Faulkner has created an amazing Matilda The Musical-inspired recipe card perfect for theatre fans with a sweet tooth.

Here at Official London Theatre our love of all things stagey is only rivalled by a love of all things sugary. Whether it’s a fresh cream Victoria sponge or a delectable macaroon, a buttery flapjack or crumbly biscuit, it’s safe to say we’ll love it. That’s why we are so excited to be supporting the first ever West End Bake Off, in which a host of top West End shows will head to St Anne’s Courtyard this Saturday 23 May to find out which show judges Christopher Biggins and Barbara Windsor will crown the best bakers in town and raise money for Acting For Others.

To celebrate, our favourite multi-talented actor and chef, Celebrity MasterChef winner Lisa Faulkner, has taken inspiration from Olivier Award-winning hit Matilda The Musical to give one of her scrumptilicious recipe from her newest book Tea & Cake with Lisa Faulker a West End twist.

You can view the recipe card below and download it as a PDF by clicking on it. We’d love to see what culinary masterpieces West End Bake Off inspires you to create; tweet us your photos to @O_L_T

West End Bake Off takes place on Saturday 23 May from 11:00-13:00. You can find full details here.
