Soaring into The Other Palace this autumn, a galaxy of musical stars will perform in the eagerly awaited return of musical Eugenius!.

Rob Houchen (a former Marius in Les Misérables) will play the lead role of Eugene, while Laura Baldwin (love interest Janey), Daniel Buckley (Feris), Scott Paige (Theo) and Alison Arnopp (Space Diva/Mrs Truthstretcher) return from the show’s first fully-fledged run.

Also new to the cast are Neil McDermott (recently on stage as Chief Weasel in The Wind In The Willows, and on screen as Ryan Malloy in EastEnders) as Evil Lord Hector, along with Emily Tierney (Wicked, West End) as Carrie/Super Hot Lady, Alex Bourne (Annie, West End) as Lex, and Simon Thomas (The Phantom Of The Opera, West End) as Gerhard/Tough Man.

The cast is completed by Christopher Ragland, Tom Senior, Alex Tranter, Ben Darcy, Dilllon Scott-Lewis, Lauren Cancannon, Amy West, and Sasha Wareham. The legendary Brian Blessed contributes the voice of Space Lord.

Eugenius! is the superhero musical to save them all, penned by Ben Adams (of A1 fame) and Chris Wilkins. The show follows a teenage boy, Eugene, who dreams of a distant world of heroes and villains – dreams which lead him all the way to Hollywood. Once there, out-of-this-world adventure awaits for Eugene and his best friends Janey and Feris, as the trio fight to discover the superhero within.

Producer Warwick Davis, the legendary Star Wars and Harry Potter actor, said: “We are so thrilled to finally reveal our new cast… they are going to help take our show into another dimension!

“And if you were one of the wonderful, crazy fans who saw it many times, we look forward to welcoming you back again – especially as we have added a new song to the 80s-inspired soundtrack that had audiences on their feet at every performance punching the air and shouting in unison, ‘Go Eugenius!’.”

Eugenius! started life as a concert performance at the London Palladium, before a fully-staged run at The Other Palace earlier this year. It returns to the Victoria venue from Saturday 1 September until Sunday 7 October.
