Chickenshed's Tales From The Shed

Easter Shed for Chickenshed

Published 22 February 2013

Chickenshed will be serving up a host of treats for five to 12-year-olds this Easter in the form of Easter Shed, a series of events designed to let children explore and develop their performance skills.

With sessions running every day from 8 to 12 April, Easter Shed will give children the opportunity to take part in a number of workshops involving drama, dance, singing and story-making before coming together for a final performance where they can showcase what they’ve learnt to their parents.

But the fun doesn’t end at Easter, as similar workshops are available every Saturday from 27 April to 6 July and during the summer holidays from 29 July to 9 August, giving five to 12-year-olds of all abilities the chance to learn a wide range of performance skills with the help of Chickenshed’s highly experienced and energetic staff.

Throwing even more fun into the mix, Chickenshed will also host Tales Big Day Out (20 and 21 April), a chance for all the family to get together and see both new and much-loved routines from the Southgate venue’s popular interactive children’s show Tales From The Shed and take part in creative activities at the festival’s many exciting stalls.

An informal, lively and engaging show that sees performers and young audience members share the same space, Tales From The Shed will play at Chickenshed from 26 April to 6 July, promising lots of colourful puppets, live songs and silliness.
