A Day In The Life: The RSC’s Karen Fishwick

Published 14 December 2018

It’s The Merry Wives Of Windsor as you’ve never seen them before. In the Royal Shakespeare Company’s latest production of the comedy, the play acts as a spin on reality TV and pop culture, with the costumes a mix between contemporary and Elizabethan. It’s safe to say that audiences can expect the unexpected as bonkers events play out before them.

Luckily for us, we got a sneak peek at the show from backstage: Karen Fishwick, the Olivier Award-nominated actress (as one of Our Ladies Of Perpetual Succour), who plays Anne Page, showed us how, at the Barbican Centre this winter, the only way is Windsor. Take a look below.

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s London season plays at the Barbican Centre until Saturday 19 January 2019; The Merry Wives Of Windsor plays until Saturday 5 January. You can book your tickets through the Barbican website.
