Some of the stars of the Laurence Olivier Award-winning cabaret show La Clique will return to London this Christmas to present La Soirée, a new show held in a specially created venue on the South Bank.

La Soirée gives Londoners another chance to see the unusual talents of performers including Scandinavian contortionist Captain Frodo, acrobats The English Gents and fetishist Miss Behave, along with David O’Mer, otherwise known as Bath Boy due to his eye-popping exploits in a bathtub.

This unique medley of cabaret artists first performed together at the Edinburgh Fringe, going on to showcase their exploits around the world, including in London as part of the cast of La Clique, the cabaret show that occupied the Hippodrome in 2008. La Clique went on to win the 2009 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment and returned to London for a Christmas season at the Roundhouse.

La Soirée, which plays from 12 October to 30 January, will be held in Magic Mirrors, a sumptuous travelling auditorium which will set up home on the South Bank behind the National Theatre.
