Chickenshed tells Fairies’ Tale

First Published 3 July 2008, Last Updated 4 July 2008

Fairies’ Tale, a new production for 3-7-year-olds, plays at Chickenshed theatre from 24 July to 6 August.

Using puppets, live music and physical theatre, the show is no ordinary fairy tale, instead it gives humans the fairies’ side of the story.

When humans grow up, they stop believing in fairies. For your average fairy, on the other hand, humans are a mysterious race that exist only in legends and fables. But on Midsummer’s night, the most magical night of the year, the fairy world and the human world collide and so begins an adventure against time to save the two worlds and their belief in each other.

North London children’s theatre Chickenshed is an inclusive theatre company that produces theatre for young people, as well as running youth theatre workshops open to children of all backgrounds and abilities.
