Eddie Arnold will take on the role of everyone’s favourite sandwich-loving canine when he leads the cast of Scooby-Doo Live! The Mystery Of The Pyramid, which will make a stop at the New Wimbledon Theatre in May as part of its UK tour.

The actor, who most recently appeared in the Royal Court’s critically acclaimed production of Jumpy,  will be helped on his mystery solving way by Danny Stokes as his cowardly sidekick Shaggy. Julia Cave, Louise Wright and Josh Little make up the rest of the Mystery Inc. gang as Daphne, Velma and Fred, with Douglas Walker, Stuart Vincent, Eleanor O’Grady and Phillip Quigley completing the cast.

Londoners wanting to find out whether ‘those meddling kids’ are able to save the day once again can catch the show when it comes to the south west London venue from 27 to 29 May before heading to Guildford’s G Live from 30 May to 1 June.

Billed as “a must see musical adventure for the whole family”, the spooks-packed production will take audiences to Ancient Egypt, where Scooby and the gang face treacherous challenges while trying to uncover the mystery of Pharoah Hatchepsout’s pyramid.

Staying true to the animated series, Scooby-Doo Live! The Mystery Of The Pyramid will feature that all-important theme tune along with spectacular effects and physical comedy that promises to entertain children and adults of all ages.
