The Bodyguard, one of the most anticipated new shows opening this season, is set to release the first image of stars Heather Headley and Lloyd Owen as the love story’s iconic leading pair today, but in an unusual twist, we need your help to see it.
Here at Official London Theatre we are dying to see Headley and Owen as Rachel Marron and Frank Farmer, the couple immortalised on film by the legendary late Whitney Houston and film star Kevin Costner. But in order to do so, theatre lovers need to have their mouses at the ready to ‘click to reveal’ the first ever image from Thea Sharrock’s forthcoming production.
All you need to do is head over to The Bodyguard’s official website and click the ‘like’, ‘share’ or ‘tweet’ buttons to uncover a small piece of the photo. As more people interact, the faster the pieces will be uncovered giving us the first glimpses of a new historic stage pairing.
As an added bonus, everyone who clicks to reveal the image will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of 10 pairs of tickets to see the show at the Adelphi theatre, which starts previews next month and will feature a score of some of Houston’s most-loved hits.
