Bike announces second extension

First Published 11 July 2011, Last Updated 11 July 2011

Current Royal Court hit The Village Bike has proved so successful that it will extend its run at the Sloane Square venue for a second time and will now run until 6 August.

Penelope Skinner’s dark comedy stars The Crimson Petal And The White’s Romola Garai as a frustrated mum-to-be whose husband is more interested in the baby manual than her new underwear. As the summer heats up, a brief encounter sends her speeding downhill towards reckless abandon.

The comedy , which also stars Nathan Barley’s Nicholas Burns and Law And Order’s Dominic Rowan alongside Phil Cornwell, Alexandra Gilbreath and Sasha Waddell, was originally due to play at the Royal Court’s Jerwood Theatre Upstairs until 16 July. It extended until 30 July last month.
